- We require a $120 deposit at the time of your order. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your hog.
- We can raise the pig to the size you need. A larger pig will have more fat to lean muscle.
- Typical slaughter weight for a whole hog is around 250 lbs which yields about 180 lbs hanging weight or 90 lbs hanging weight for the half hog.
- The whole hog will yield about 175 lbs (which includes hocks, soup bones, lard, liver, jowls, head, trotters and more).
